Information for Accepted Students

Congratulations!

You have been accepted to participate in an education abroad program through The Catholic University of America and will soon be on your way to the adventure of a lifetime. Whether your program is for a few days over the spring break or for an entire academic year, the experience will be valuable to you for years to come.

You don't want to get to your destination and find out that you've
forgotten something important. We have written a handbook and we are providing you with information so you would know what to do to get ready and what to do once you have arrived.

Make sure you attend the pre-departure orientation(s) and read your student handbook so you don't miss any vital piece of advice. You will enjoy your time abroad much more if you are prepared. In addition to information contained here, which is applicable to all students who participate in education programs, you will also be provided with information regarding your specific program. The program-specific information will come either from CUAbroad (in case of an exchange, the Rome semester and the OPUS program in Oxford), another CUA department (Music, Architecture, Engineering, etc.), or the affiliated program provider. Be sure follow advice provided in order to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Once again, congratulations on your decision to participate in an education abroad experience and on your acceptance into a CUA education abroad program.

Sincerely,

The CUAbroad Staff

Grace Schneider, Acting Director of Education Abroad (schneiderg@cua.edu)
