Response to COVID-19
The Office of Education Abroad has been monitoring the current situation regarding travel advisories related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and as of Tuesday, April 21, the United States Department of State updated its travel advisories to include 116 countries on its recommended “Do Not Travel” list. Unfortunately, many of the countries where the University sponsors summer travel, including Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Costa Rica, and Greece, are now included on the list. Therefore, the Office of Global Strategies has decided to cancel all summer abroad programs that cannot be conducted virtually or online.
Decisions regarding study abroad in the fall semester will be made June 1. For more information, please consult the COVID-19 Q&A. Regularly updated information regarding the COVID-19 response can also be found on Catholic University's COVID-19 website.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out to the Office of Education Abroad at email@example.com.
