AXA Telehealth Services

Telehealth services are now available for all Catholic University travelers. For more information, refer to the AXA Telehealth Services Overview & FAQs.

Teleconsultation

Teleconsultations are virtual consultations between a licensed medical provider and a patient, for the purposes of delivering healthcare services. Medical teleconsultation enables travelers to have a healthcare experience via video consult or over the phone. For minor ailments and conditions, licensed medical providers offer medical advice, treatment options, assistance with prescription refills, and provider referrals when needed. Teleconsultation is available in multiple languages.

Remote Behavioral Health Assistance

Remote behavioral health assistance allows for a phone consultation between a U.S. mental health professional and a patient, for the purposes of delivering counseling services. This program provides seamless access to crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization exclusively by master and doctoral level clinicians. Callers will be connected to a trained counselor to help with immediate support and coordination in high-risk situations. All conversations are kept confidential.
